At Northern Peace Regional Airport (YXJ), we value safety. Our North Peace Regional Airport Fire & Rescue team is key to this mission.
North Peace Regional Airport is equipped with two Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles. They are manned by a team of professionals trained in on-site emergency response.
The ARFF vehicles use high-powered turrets to pump water, foam or dry chemicals to extinguish fire. They provide a timely initial response while awaiting the arrival of our mutual aid and community fire departments.
