We recommend passengers to arrive at the North Peace Regional Airport (YXJ) at least 1.5 hours prior to their scheduled flight departure. This allows sufficient time to:
Locate a parking spot.
Enter the airport with luggage.
Check-in with the airline.
Hand over checked bags to the airline.
Proceed through Security.
Please note that airlines enforce strict deadlines for checked baggage. We encourage passengers to verify these times directly with their respective airlines. Visit the YXJ’s airline directory for your airline’s contact details.

When travelling within Canada, passengers 18 years of age or older must have government-issued identification (ID) with a photo or two non-photo government-issued identifications, including the person’s name and at least one that includes the date of birth and gender.
Any ID shown must be valid. It can not be expired.

For lost baggage or items left on your flight, please contact your airline directly.
Baby food, baby drinks and breast milk are considered exempt items, but they are subject to certain restrictions. Guests must declare these items to the screening officer for inspection.

No. The North Peace Regional Airport Terminal is open daily from 2:30 AM to 12 PM.
The airport administration office operates from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM.
Short-Term: Enjoy up to 60 minutes of complimentary parking in the main lot on us. (This excludes metered parking.)
Hourly: $2 per hour, to a maximum of 8 hours
Daily: $12.00 including GST
Annual Corporate VIP Pass: $3000 plus GST
Accessible Parking: Accessible Parking is available in the Public Parking Lot, directly in front of the Airport Terminal Building.

We have two designated smoking zones around our Air Terminal Building which permit the use of tobacco, vapes, e-cigarettes and medicinal cannabis.
No other substance is permitted.
You must carry a valid prescription if you need to consume medicinal cannabis in these areas.
No, the YXJ terminal does not carry an exchange currency vendor.
Yes, The North Peace Regional Airport offers free public WIFI for all guests within the terminal.
